Brad is a Partner on our Assurance and Advisory Services Team with more than 30 years of experience in public accounting. He has experience providing audit, attestation, corporate finance, business valuation, consulting, and tax services to businesses. His practice centers on investment partnerships for private equity, venture capital, mezzanine debt and hedge funds, and the portfolio companies of these partnerships. Brad has experience serving numerous industries, including investment partnerships, technology, financial services, healthcare, restaurants, employee benefit plans, and manufacturing and distribution, both domestically and internationally. Brad’s background in corporate finance services includes buy- and sell-side due diligence services, quality of earnings and pre-acquisition reviews, operational reviews and financial forecasting. He has also led or reviewed valuation engagements, including privately-held investments, software, professional sports, and consumer media arenas, and businesses in consumer goods, paper, printing, and electrical products.
Charlie LeBoeuf has significant accounting and auditing experience in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, life sciences, construction, insurance, private equity, and hospitality. His practice emphasis includes SSAE 16 examinations, TSP examinations, and serving as a loaned CFO. He also performs the national tech review for CCH Construction Audit and Accounts Guide and Tool set. Charlie is currently a member of the Cincinnati Leadership Team.
Angela focuses her practice in mergers and acquisitions within the firm’s consulting group. She provides full-service investment banking services to middle-market clients in the Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio regions. Angela has more than 25 years of experience in assisting owners in transitioning their businesses, including buying and selling businesses, turnaround, and financial management. Prior to joining MCM, Angela worked as a director for Corporate Finance Associates, a worldwide middle-market investment banking firm. Angela has owned her own commercial construction and real estate company. Throughout her career, she’s worked on M&A transactions in broadcasting, healthcare, banking, manufacturing, distribution, technology, business services, and construction.
Mike is a Partner on our Tax Services Team and has more than 40 years of experience. Mike provides tax consulting services, including comprehensive corporate, partnership and individual research, planning, review and compliance, and representation before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), as well as other state and local tax authorities for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Mike also provides tax planning and advocacy for both C and S corporations involving equity dispositions, tax-free reorganizations, and liquidation tax analysis for both the company and the shareholders. He assists corporations with a myriad of applications for change in accounting methods, related party issues and planning, and a host of other significant corporate tax items such as equity compensation, debt discharge, and inventory capitalization issues. Mike provides compliance and planning services to not-for-profits, including member service groups, social services, and philanthropic organizations. He assists charitable organizations with preparation of applications for tax-exempt status and advises on operational matters, including tax structure, tax planning involving reorganization, sales tax application, payroll issues and accounting.
Nick is a Senior Manager on our Assurance Services Team, with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting. He has experience in providing audit and consulting services, external audit, internal audit, regulatory compliance, external loan reviews, Bank Secrecy Act reviews, Interest Rate Risk testing, and managing engagements within the financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
Rick Woods is a partner in MCM’s Tax Services Department and leads the Federal Tax Group. His practice focus is providing business and individual tax planning and compliance to closely-held businesses and their owners, with emphasis on C corporation / shareholder issues, consolidated multi-state tax returns, mergers and acquisitions, partnership and S corporation issues, and real estate matters. Rick has been active in public accounting since 1996 and was formerly associated with a national accounting firm for over 5 years. He is a member of the firm’s Manufacturing, Insurance and Financial Institutions Service Teams.
Drew has over 20 years of experience in various assurance and consulting capacities while working with numerous businesses in industries including manufacturing, retail, construction, professional services, and publicly-traded companies. His previous experience as a member of the Audit and Assurance Services Group includes oversight of audit, attestation, and consulting engagements for a range of clients in a variety of industries. Drew now focuses his expertise within the firm’s consulting group. His current practice is devoted primarily to business valuation for purposes of gift and estate tax areas, mergers and acquisitions, marital dissolutions, and succession planning. Drew also works closely with the legal profession and has served as an expert witness on litigation support projects involving business disputes, lost profits, and economic damages. He also assists businesses in the areas of fraud risk assessments, fraud and forensic examinations, and due diligence analysis for mergers and acquisitions.
Steve was previously associated with the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He serves many different industries, including emerging businesses, professional service organizations, not-for-profits, restaurants, real estate development, and manufacturing and distribution. Steve has served as chairman of the Kentucky Society of CPAs Committee for Bankers, Lawyers, and Other Users of Financial Statements, and as chairman of the Federal Tax Committee. He has performed various audit, tax, business valuations and consulting services for many different types of entities. Steve leads our Advisory Group and is a past member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
Ray is an Associate in MCM’s Capital Markets Group (CMG), focusing on sell-side and buy-side transactions. Ray works across a variety of industries, with a focus in the industrial, distribution, and technology sectors. Prior to joining CMG, Ray worked in Corporate Development at a high growth Payroll and SaaS company, focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions. Ray previously was a consultant in a Big 4 Financial Services practice, providing large national banking corporations and insurance companies with liquidity, capital, credit and operational consulting services. He is experienced in deal sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiation and executing transactions.
