Joe is a lifelong Cincy native and former public accountant, where his experience allows him to excel in addressing finance, tech and compliance issues that companies face with custom consulting and/or resource solutions. Other roles he plays are dad, brother, son, Cincy sports fan, bourbon enthusiast, and traveler.
He is a co-founder and managing partner of Vaco Cincinnati. Under his leadership, after eight years, the Cincinnati office is the fastest launched market in Vaco history. Vaco has been honored as a Fast 55 Finalist, in recognition of the firm’s exponential growth. He is an Executive Committee member for both REDI and ACG Cincinnati and is a member of FEI. He leads the Nick Erdy Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to Joe’s childhood friend who was killed in Iraq in 2005.
Leah Bodenmiller is a Director in the Advisory Services Practice of Vaco Cincinnati, a role she has held for nearly four years. She is a graduate of Ohio University. Leah is a member of ACG Cincinnati Women’s’ Committee.
Brendan Fowler is a Managing Director in the Advisory Practice of Vaco Cincinnati, a role he has served for almost seven years. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton. Brendan volunteers with Paint the Town and the Dragonfly Foundation. He is also the co-chair of ACG Cincinnati’s Executive Career Transition Roundtable, a group that helps executives in private equity ideate their next career step.
